Yesterday I was baby-sitting 3 little boys. And one of them came up to me right away and gave me a huge hug. But it totally scared me at first, because I was not expecting it. So I was like "Gasp..." And then we had this conversation...
Boy: "Do you like hugs?Me: "Only from boys!"
Boy "Oh good!"
And then I got another hug, from a boy. But then he asked:
"Why are you wearing a ring on your ring finger?"
Me: "Because it's pretty."
Boy "oh, so you are not married."
Me "Nope."
Boy "Do you want to be married?"
Me: (thought...NO.) "Maybe one day."
His curious thought process totally cracks me up. So then he asks:
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
Me: "Why, Do you want to be mine?"
Boy bashfully "Noooooooooooo"
I probably scared the poor child, but hey, he asked.
But so then later that day, my Mom, six sisters and a friend went to a mother/daughter luncheon. Okay, so I was just being social and talking and everything like, ya know, you do at these things when the lady I was talking to asked me if I had a child!! Thought process: "Do I look like I have, or have had a baby!!" Seriously??? I hope not. ;-)
What was it, that day, that made everyone ask me such (ridiculous if I do say so myself) questions?!?
But okay, I tried to think of all the valuable lessons I could learn from this. I didn't find any. I am scarred. For life. Actually....Not. I think it's all very funny!! I love how life always stays original.

Once upon a time a girl found a dress.
But she was to tall. Seriously this girl was like a whole....5'6! Giant.
So she invested her life savings of $1.50 and bought YELLOW.
I know, Way to keep the patriotic theme going!
And being the amazing seamstress I am I hardly had ANY problems. (that i couldn't fix.) :-)
I eventually got it finished. :-)
Accessorize. ;-)
I love before and after pic's!
Now I wont defraud anyone with my KNEE'S!

Oh oh oh Happy Happy Birthday....
I know that everyone, like me, thinks that they have a very special relationship with Jonathan. And they do! For each relationship is just as unique and special no matter how different. But the relationship I share with my younger brother is *very* unique and special!
This is how I view our relationship.
This is what we tell people our relationship is like. I mean, look at us!
And this is how we really are! This is "school" one day when Jon and I were in an especially good mood and mom had to separate us. BUT with our amazing talent we soon had her laughing with us.
And this....Is why I love him!
We cause trouble and don't get in trouble because we do it with the teacher. We never fight because I know if I hit him, he can hit harder. And he never hits because he knows I can cry. He can sweet talk just about anyone into anything and make them feel like there getting the bigger end of the bargain. He can say things like "Oh, I'll buy my own coffee guys." then ten minutes later "You are going to pay me back for that, right?" and make you think you actually owe him something. All-in-all....He is special. Thank GOD I have my little brother. I love you, Jon. I really do....Happy Birthday!

The Thingy I made. ;-)
So yesterday I was burning stuff and decided to cut down the tree/weed growing beside the pear tree. It seemed wasteful to burn such perfectly straight polls, so I made this. We are gonna plant Ivy or morning glories by it and let it climb up it and it will look b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l.l.e.r :-)

So today my day started at 5 (Am...) when tiff woke me up, where she was house sitting, to tell me her hip was out of place and needed to go home. So I of course woke up happy and ready to go like I always am in the morning! (Riiiight) BUT I did manage to drive us home safely and only, kinda, ran one stop sign. (which technically should be a yield sign.) We past a total of 4 cars on the way home....The other idiots out this early. BUT i'll bet none of them were as cheerful as me. I got home, made the perfect cup of coffee, took and good, long, hot, (much needed) shower and then made breakfast for the fam. (Best sister/daughter ever) And I got to remember how much I love to cook alone. Then I watched the sun rise! (it actually rises in the morning! WHO KNEW!) Um...ME of course cuz im totally such a morning person! Duuuh....then I worked outside until it was time to take tiff to the Chiropractor. Besides her not being able to drive herself I love to drive her manual. So I took yet another much needed shower because I smelled like the smoke from my bonfire So I also had a super good attitude about driving her all around town. After that I came home and worked some more outside...which btw, is my favorite thing to do! 80 degree's in March? Yes, please! Soon enough it was time for church. I smelled like smoke again but I was not going to shower one more time! ...So hopefully the change of clothes and gobs of perfume I wore covered it. (kidding about the perfume) I shower in the icy hose and called it good. Oh and I built an (Amazing if-I-do-say-so-myself!) Trellis thingy...post pic's later. ;-) After church I talked mom into buying Smore's and we had ourselfs a real bonfire. :-) It was perfect.

Recently, as some of you know, we have suffered the loss of our dearly beloved (not) Roaster. (BUMMER huh?) Over that past year we have had a loss of 40% of our chickens. BUT for us that's probably not that bad. Although the untimely death of the roaster was unfortunate I believe it was the main reason my family purchased 8 new "poop machines" today. (Jon wanted to get 40...heck no!) Since no one in my family is willing to kill, pluck....or anything else, they are just basically Jonathan's pets. So we name them. (Cute, right?) So today Jonathan kindly informs me that he is going to let me name them. Awwwww! So taken into account that this is a great honor, because he actually really loves them, I have considered carefully what to name his precious pets. (WHAT IN THE WORLD DO YOU NAME A CHICKEN?!?!) I drew up blank. Which, for me, like....never happens! I don't love the chickens, I don't even like them. I like eating them! So I decided that the only suitable names for them were the ones I found when I Googled "Chicken dishes". I actually only found 6 so Jonathan will just have to be creative! Okay, so here are the names I found. "Roast, Pot pie, Casserole, Nugget, Wings and Rotisserie" Awwww.....They're perfect! Right? I am such a good older sister.
